Daisy

I'm in love with Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume.
It's basically all I wear, but occasionally I'll wear these other mini Marc Jacobs perfumes for special occasions: Oh, Lola!, Dot, and Daisy Eau So Fresh.  To me, the mini scents are stronger than the classic, which is perfect for going out.
The reason I love the classic so much is because it not only smells amazing, but it isn't overbearing or powerful.  One Spray on your neck is all you'll need to smell fresh and clean for the rest of the day.

Long Hair, Don't Care.

Do you want luscious curls like this?
It's a lot easier than you'd think.
Wash your hair.  My favorite shampoo and conditioner is Macadamia Rejuvenating Shampoo & Moisturizing Rinse.  It's sort of pricy, so hold out for Beauty Brands Liter Sale.

After washing your hair, let excess water soak up in a towel.  I love Turbie Twists.  Do your makeup, and by the time you're done, it'll be time to do your hair.

Take a quarter size of this Living proof prime style extender, and start at the ends of your hair, working your way up to your roots.  You can buy it at Sephora for around $20.

Blow dry hair upside down with a large paddle brush.

Your hair will most likely be straight, but don't worry.  One step left.
Once completely dry, take a large barrel roll curling iron and curl the middle to ends of your hair.
Voila!  You've got beautiful, photo-ready locks.

Interior Inspiration: Blair Waldorf

It's no secret I love Gossip Girl.
So why not bring a little touch of Blair's room into your own?
Neutral colors mixed with light blues create a warm feel.
Silky pillows and sheets for the bed.
Full length freestanding mirror in the corner.
Golden bedside tables with lamps on either sides.
Vanity with flowers, photos, makeup, and perfume on a mirrored plate.
Flowing off-white tule curtains.
An organized walk in closet large enough to house a family.
An ornate bathtub.
A chaise for lounging, and fireplace...just because.

My Collection

Most people think I have a problem...but I just call it a collection.
I'll say it.
I collect mugs.
*gasp*
I know.  It's awful.
I have dozens and dozens, and yet I could buy a new one everyday and still want more.
You could blame it on my love for coffee I guess.

I have a wide variety.  Starbucks, bacon&eggs, chevron, ombre, Christmas, colorful, and colorless mugs are all mine.  Just to name a few.
As I type this, I'm drinking warm camomile tea out of a pink owl mug (one of my favorites).

These are some I want to add to my collection:

St. Patrick's Day Sweets

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

It's tradition in my family to eat green pancakes for breakfast, and corned beef & cabbage for lunch.
But what about dessert?!
If you're looking for a little luck, look no longer.  I've found the perfect desserts for your lucky day.

Don't these Pot of Gold sugar cookie truffles look delicious?
Recipe can be found on yoursouthernpeach.com
This is also too perfect.  Shamrock macaroons and Baileys.
Recipe can be found on raspberricupcakes.com.
Want something more traditional?  Try these mint chocolate chip cookies.
Recipe can be found on thefoodcharlatan.com.
It's a rare occasion that my dog will come up and snuggle next to me.  Here he is watching me pin on Pinterest.  Are you following me?  If not, go follow Fashionably Late!

Are you wearing green?

My bag

There is a story behind my bag.

So I had my eye on this Cedar Street Maise Kate Spade bag for like...ever.
I told myself that after I graduated college, this bag would be mine.
It sounds kind of weird that I bought myself a present, but it gave me the motivation to push through the last few weeks of school and finals.

I don't think I could have done it without this bag.  Honestly.
I ordered it online before the last month of college. It was beautifully wrapped up and waiting for me when I got home after graduation.
It's been by my side ever since.

The color, which is called Clock Tower, matches everything and is perfect for all seasons.
You treat something different when you feel like you've earned it.
I take care of her just like I would my own child.  Who am I kidding?  She's now family.

Have you ever bought yourself a gift for accomplishing something?
